When I first saw this talk from Dick Hardt at Sxip Inc over a year ago, I knew I loved the presentation style and his dry sense of humor. I also admired Sxip’s attempt to align the online identity experience with people’s inherent tendencies and learned habits/expectations. Human-Centered Design applied to identity, you might say.  However, I had no idea that I would be reminded of his talk time and time again.  As it turns out, online identity is not only something that IT security specialists have to think about.

If you design interactions with customers, prospects, colleagues, or even between friends and family online, then you’ll likely find this talk incredibly relevant and insightful.

For the rest of you, even if you don’t know Dick, enjoy his presentation style and dry sense of humor, just like I did, and be amazed when you are consistently reminded of his talk, too.
